This Billing & Refund Policy explains how payments, Premium Subscriptions, billing, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Freelancer Digest ("Service", "Platform", "we", "our", or "us").

This Policy forms part of the Freelancer Digest Terms of Service.

1. Payments

Freelancer Digest currently accepts payments for Premium Subscriptions through Telegram Stars.

When you purchase a Premium Subscription, the payment is processed through Telegram's payment infrastructure.

We do not directly collect or store your payment card details, bank account information, or other payment credentials.

Your use of Telegram Stars is also subject to Telegram's applicable terms and policies.

2. Subscription Plans

The Service may offer one or more Premium Subscription Plans.

Each Subscription Plan may specify:

subscription duration;
price;
included Premium Features;
applicable conditions.

The applicable price and subscription conditions are displayed to you before you confirm a purchase.

We reserve the right to introduce, modify, or discontinue Subscription Plans.

Changes to existing subscriptions will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the Terms of Service.

3. Payment Confirmation

A Premium Subscription is activated only after the Service receives and successfully verifies the relevant payment confirmation.

A payment being initiated or displayed as pending does not by itself guarantee Premium access.

If payment confirmation cannot be verified, Premium access may not be activated until the payment status is successfully confirmed.

4. Premium Activation

After successful payment verification, the corresponding Premium Subscription is associated with your Freelancer Digest account.

Premium Features become available for the applicable subscription period.

The subscription period begins according to the subscription information displayed at the time of purchase and recorded by the Service after successful payment confirmation.

5. Subscription Expiration

Premium access automatically expires when the applicable subscription period ends unless the Service provides a renewal mechanism.

After expiration:

Premium Features may become unavailable;
your account may continue to exist;
information associated with your account may remain subject to our Privacy Policy.

Expiration of a subscription does not require deletion of your account.

6. Cancellation

If the Service provides a subscription cancellation mechanism, you may use that mechanism to cancel future renewal of your subscription.

Cancellation of a subscription does not necessarily result in an immediate termination of already-paid Premium access.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly stated at the time of purchase, cancellation generally prevents future charges or renewals rather than creating an automatic entitlement to a refund for the current subscription period.

7. Refunds

Because payments are made using Telegram Stars, refunds are subject to the payment mechanisms and applicable rules governing those transactions.

Where a refund is available, requests may be submitted through Freelancer Digest support.

Unless required by applicable law, refunds are not guaranteed for:

change of mind;
unused Premium Features;
failure to use the Service;
partial use of a subscription period;
failure to configure notifications or preferences;
inability to obtain freelance work through the Service.

We may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis where appropriate.

Nothing in this Policy limits mandatory refund or consumer rights provided by applicable law.

8. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments

If you believe that you have been charged more than once for the same subscription or that a payment was processed incorrectly, please contact support as soon as reasonably possible.

We may request information necessary to identify the relevant transaction, such as:

Telegram user identifier;
transaction identifier;
approximate payment date;
Subscription Plan;
other information reasonably necessary to investigate the issue.

We will review the transaction and, where appropriate, take reasonable steps to resolve verified billing errors.

9. Failed Payments

If a payment fails, is rejected, cancelled, or cannot be verified, Premium access may not be activated.

If Premium access was granted before a payment was subsequently determined to be invalid or reversed, we may suspend or terminate the associated Premium access.

10. Fraud and Unauthorized Transactions

We may investigate transactions that appear to involve:

fraud;
unauthorized activity;
payment manipulation;
abuse of refunds;
attempts to circumvent subscription mechanisms.

Where reasonably necessary, we may suspend Premium access while a transaction is being investigated.

We may also terminate accounts involved in fraudulent or abusive activity in accordance with the Terms of Service.

11. Taxes and Additional Charges

The amount displayed at the time of purchase may be affected by taxes, fees, or other charges imposed by Telegram or applicable authorities.

Where applicable, such amounts may be determined by the payment provider or relevant jurisdiction.

You are responsible for any taxes or obligations that may apply to your use of the Service, except for taxes that Freelancer Digest is legally required to collect and remit.

12. Changes to Pricing

We may change the prices or terms of Subscription Plans from time to time.

Any applicable price will be displayed before you confirm a new purchase.

Unless required by applicable law, changes to pricing do not retroactively modify the amount already paid for an active subscription period.

13. Payment Provider

Telegram Stars and related payment functionality are provided through Telegram and its payment infrastructure.

Freelancer Digest does not control the underlying Telegram payment infrastructure.

Issues concerning the operation of Telegram Stars may be subject to Telegram's own policies and technical procedures.

Where a payment issue can only be resolved by Telegram or another payment provider, we may direct you to the applicable provider.

14. No Guarantee of Earnings

Purchasing a Premium Subscription does not guarantee that you will obtain freelance work, clients, contracts, revenue, or any particular financial result.

Freelancer Digest provides software functionality intended to help users discover and evaluate freelance opportunities.

Any decision to apply for a project, contact a client, submit a proposal, or enter into a contract is made solely by you.

When contacting support regarding a payment, please provide sufficient information to identify the transaction.

Do not send passwords, private keys, payment card numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive information.

16. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Billing & Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in:

payment providers;
Telegram Stars functionality;
Subscription Plans;
pricing;
refund procedures;
applicable laws;
the Service.

The current version will be published on our official legal website.

Where required by applicable law, we may provide additional notice of material changes.

17. Relationship with the Terms of Service

This Policy forms part of the Freelancer Digest Terms of Service.

If there is a conflict between this Policy and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service will govern unless this Policy expressly states otherwise.

Mandatory rights granted to consumers under applicable law remain unaffected.

18. Effective Date

This Billing & Refund Policy is effective as of August 2, 2026.
